Have you been thinking about buying a home gym or Bioforce Tony Little's Bio Force Extreme?

So before you blow your hard earned cash on these home gyms take a moment to read this article. A friend of mine recently called me and asked me my opinion on the Bioforce home gym ... I told him that he knew nothing about it, but what he told me and all the TV infomercials got my curiosity up.

I'll be honest with you I'm not a big fan of expensive home gyms that I see on TV or in a sporting goods store. For the most part they are poorly manufactured and heavily over-priced.

So with much reluctance I took a ride down to the local Sports Authority (SA) to check one.

Here are the things that I liked and disliked about Bioforce Home Gym:

1st It is a sturdy piece of equipment in relation to any of the Bowflex home gyms sold in SA (I have yet to see the Bowflex Revolution) and I would imagine the TV or their website, as well.

2nd Lat pull down attachment, is well built and handles are good quality.

3rd The unit itself is not light in weight (weight to 174 pounds. Fully assembled), but I think it's to be expected since they do not want to fall over on you while you're exercising.

4th I asked a sales associate at the store about how easy it is to gather and he said that the Bioforce home gym people say it takes only 1.5 hours, but it is gathered on one floor and it was closer to 2.5 hours.

He did mention that the instructions are easy to follow and complete. Also, he said, without giving all the tools needed for assembly. A nice feature I must add.

5th The unit itself is small in any way so you will probably need a good size room to put it in. assembled dimensions are 52-3/4 "LX 65" WX 82 "H. It is so high to forget about putting it inside your home if you have low ceilings or in your basement. You have to dedicate a room as a fitness gym for these large units.

6th I did get a chance to look at their training manual, and here I was very disappointed! They advertise more than 100 exercises ... The truth is that many of the exercises easy to do exercises on the other hand, as in the case of biceps curls. They count on the right hand as an exercise, a left hand as exercise number two. This is one area fail miserably as you can get a good workout?

Bio Force 1.7 Home Gym
To be honest 1.7 Bio Power home gym is a little out there for my preference as I can handle the power bands and bars, but I'm not really sure what's going on here. Who knows, this May will be the next big thing in home gyms. Powerline BSG10X Home Gym, Short Assembly, 160lb Weight Stack
It is a beautiful looking home gym and BSG10X Powerline home gym brings quality and performance with its proven track record. Again we are dealing with the actual weight so you know it gets my vote. Great looking gym, excellent performance, but the price is high.
